We are thrilled to announce the launch of Star Farm Pakistan’s Cage-Free Hens Initiative-a groundbreaking step towards sustainable and humane poultry farming in Pakistan.

The launch event was held at Serena Hotel, Islamabad, bringing together voices from academia, the corporate world, and the public sector to support this transformative journey.

We were honored by the presence of H.E. Alfred Grannas, Ambassador of Germany to Pakistan, as our Chief Guest, underscoring the global importance of animal welfare and sustainable agriculture.

This initiative marks a pioneering move towards ethical food production, improved animal welfare standards, and a healthier future for all, in line with globally acclaimed standards.

The event concluded with a strategic roadmap outlining the way forward for the Cage-Free Hens Initiative, including partnerships with universities, capacity building for farmers, consumer education campaigns, and collective lobbying for permanent legislation on sustainable poultry farming as per internationally acclaimed standards.
